About the Role
Bright Future School is looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Needs Education Teacher to support primary school students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will develop individualized learning plans and create an inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' individual learning needs and develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction to students with learning, physical, or developmental challenges
• Adapt teaching materials, methods, and assessments to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusive learning in mainstream classes
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
• Work with therapists, counselors, or specialists when additional support is required
• Foster a supportive, patient, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education, Inclusive Education, or related field
• Valid teaching certification/license recognized in Tanzania
• Experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, or other special needs preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education planning and adaptive teaching methods
• Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external specialists
